Cyber Observer Partners With Spire Solutions

Published

on

Cyber Observer, the provider of Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) platforms has announced a new exclusive partnership with Spire Solutions, to provide comprehensive risk posture management, on-prem and in the cloud to new and existing customers in the region. Cyber Observer enables CISOs and other security and risk management executives to obtain new, continuous, unified visibility into the effectiveness of cybersecurity tools that are implemented throughout their enterprise.

By continuously retrieving and analyzing Critical Security Controls (CSCs) from applications on-premises and in-cloud, Cyber Observer’s CCM platform simplifies compliance, reduces mean time to detection and response, and advances cybersecurity posture management. Cybersecurity teams are overwhelmed with the complexity of managing dozens of disparate security tools that have been implemented across their hybrid enterprises.

Despite best efforts to implement security controls to minimize threats and risks, enterprise executives are discovering that misconfigured or malfunctioning tools are too often a blind spot and one of the weakest links in their security defenses. Cyber Observer’s CCM platform eliminates this problem and now enables enterprises to keep a finger on the pulse of how their security tools are performing.

Cyber Observer connects and pulls data from an enterprise’s on-premises and in-cloud tools to create a comprehensive view of the security tools implemented. In addition to continuously analyzing more than 6,250 CSCs and providing controls status in the context of management, compliance requirements, and other frameworks, Cyber Observer released a set of new features, including:

  • Real-time dashboards: Easily demonstrate the status of each tool, status of the different security areas, prioritize vulnerabilities, aggregate risk posture scoring, and alert on deviation from normal behavior.
  • Continuous reporting: Cyber Observer’s reporting module automates reports on an organization’s cybersecurity tools status and cyber posture views.
  • Open API enhancements: Enable enterprises to easily share data collected by Cyber Observer with third-party tools that provide security information and event management (SIEM), automation (SOAR), and artificial intelligence.

“Managing cybersecurity requires more than implementing security tools and checking the box,” said Shimon Becker, Cyber Observer Co-founder, and VP Product. “It requires continuous monitoring, management, and oversight to ensure that people, processes, and technology are in fact protecting your data and your enterprise. We are pleased to partner with Spire Solutions to help and provide end-to-end cybersecurity visibility so that customers can easily and better manage their organizational security posture.”

Muhammad Rehan, Business Unit Head for Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure Management at Spire Solutions, said, “Several governments and enterprises in our region are increasing their investments into cybersecurity tools and technologies. However, ensuring hygiene, measuring the effectiveness of these tools, and having end-to-end visibility can be challenging. Our partnership with Cyber Observer offers a quick and easy solution to our customers and helps them stay a few steps ahead of threats on-premises and in-cloud.”

The partnership will empower Green Circle to deliver comprehensive protection against internal threats, such as data breaches and unauthorized access. SearchInform’s DLP solutions are specifically designed to address the unique security challenges faced by organizations in the region.

“SearchInform’s solution ensures protection against corporate fraud attempts, and intentional or accidental data leaks, along with monitoring employee activities, revealing idleness during work hours, cooperating with competitors, corporate equipment theft, and much more. Our clients have been feeling the need for such a comprehensive solution for a while. Now we are providing it. Also, with this solution integrated into our managed services, customers can achieve full compliance with key regulatory frameworks in the KSA, including the National Cybersecurity Authority’s Cybersecurity Controls, the Data Governance Maturity Guideline from the Communications, Space & Technology Commission, and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) issued by the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA),” said Mohammad Alkhudari, Green Circle CEO.

To cater to the specific needs of the Saudi market, SearchInform has enhanced its technology with additional security policies tailored for Saudi Arabia. These policies cover sensitive personal information, including IBAN numbers and Saudi ID details, as well as corporate infrastructure data. This ensures a more thorough analysis and detection of potential risks and suspicious activities.

As internal threats are on the rise, it is critical for companies to strengthen their defences. Our collaboration with Green Circle marks an important milestone in elevating the overall data protection standards of KSA organizations,” commented Sergey Ozhegov, SearchInform CEO.
