New 2022 Dates Confirmed for 4th Edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia



New dates for the 4th edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia have been confirmed, with the Kingdom’s largest trade fair for security, safety, and fire protection, scheduled to take place from 13-15 September 2022, at the Riyadh Exhibition Center. The annual three-day event is organised by Saudi-based Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE) Group under licence from UAE-headquartered Messe Frankfurt Middle East, which organises Intersec, the world’s leading exhibition for security, safety, and fire protection.

Alexandria Robinson, Intersec Saudi Arabia’s Show Director, said: “We’re pleased to lock in the dates for Intersec Saudi Arabia 2022 at the Riyadh Exhibition Center, and can now look forward to a successful edition with our government partners and international exhibitors. Planning is already underway, and we’re expecting a sell-out show with plenty of new updates and business connections in the Middle East’s largest and fastest-growing market for security, safety, and fire protection.”

Intersec Saudi Arabia is supported by key government entities including the Saudi Ministry of Interior, Saudi Civil Defense, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), together with the industry at large. More than 120 exhibitors from 20 countries are expected to participate next year, while the customarily wide range of value-added conferences covering much-needed discussions and topics will also return.

According to analysts 6WResearch, Saudi’s market for video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection, along with fire safety equipment, is estimated to be worth $906 million in 2021, a seven percent increase over the previous year ($846.6 million). The market is set to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 6.3 percent over the next five years and is estimated to reach $1.2 billion in 2026.


Hikvision to Show off Latest Innovations at Ecosystem Alliance Event 2022



Hikvision has announced that it will be hosting its annual Ecosystem Alliance Event 2022 in Dubai on June 22-23, 2022. The event will bring together industry leaders from all sectors as well as leading technology partners and system integrators from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. With the theme being ‘Re-Connect and Co-Create’, Hikvision’s Ecosystems Alliance Event 2022 aims to identify new technology opportunities and encourage collaborative technology development.

The first Hikvision Ecosystem Alliance Event (EAE) event held in 2019 was a success, where the company welcomed over 300 CXO-level decision-makers. With many advancements and developments in science and technology emerging at that time, such an event was the need of the hour. Hikvision has encouraged industry participation and created a platform for more technology partners to collaborate and innovate while discovering new business opportunities. The company plans to bring together customers and partners once again in 2022 at the Ecosystem Alliance Event in Dubai.

Hikvision partners reacted to the announcement of the Ecosystem Alliance Event 2022 with their comments. One of the companies that have supported Hikvision since the first event is Makim, a technology partner from Turkey. The company’s International Marketing Executive, Alper Demirel, commented: “Hikvision EAE 2019 was an unforgettable and impressive event to meet with the right contacts. AmiViz Concludes its Multi City Roadshow Across the Middle East

Axis Communications to Participate at World Police Summit 2022



Axis Communications is participating in the 2022 edition of the World Police Summit (WPS) and will demonstrate how its market-leading network video and audio products can be leveraged by policing and law enforcement entities and enterprises to serve as the bedrock of a comprehensive surveillance and security ecosystem.
